That would be Derek Evernden, a lowly commercial illustrator with an even lower sense of humor. Derek actually grew up by Bogart Creek, in Newmarket, Ontario. The physical creek and he parted ways ages ago, but the twisted waters still burble in his brain and trickle out his pen and on to the proverbial drawing board three to four times a week. He's seeing a team of doctors about the problem.
