Derek Evernden is a lowly cartoonist and commercial illustrator with an even lower sense of humour, and creator of Bogart Creek's "single panel comics of dark and absurd humour".

 

He actually grew up near Bogart Creek, in Newmarket, Ontario. The physical creek and he parted ways ages ago, and he now enjoys the wide open prairie and big skies of southern Alberta. However, the twisted waters still burble in his brain and pour out on to the drawing board a few times a week.

 

He's seeing a team of professionals about the problem.
